Analysis from ComScore reports Android smartphones lead the smartphone market in the US for the first time pulling RIM and Apple back. Android smartphone took a 31.2% share in the ComScore analysis which contains 30,000 subscribers.
The stats are for October 2010 through January 2011where the Android surge is from 23.5% to a 31.2%. This also reveals that RIM looses 5.4% holds the second place with overall share of 30.4%. Apple’s iPhone was on third spot with an unchanged 24.7%.
Microsoft got the 4th position with a percentage of 7, which is 1.7% less than the previous while Palm declined 0.7 percent to 3.2 percent.
