Photo Captions iPhone app review

photo captions for iPhone and iPod touchPhoto Captions for iPhone and the iPod Touch is developed by an indie developer Michael Beard, which is a fun way of adding quirky and funny text captions to your photos. This may not be a perfect way of adding fun with your photos, but the man in fame, the “Gangnam Style” PSY is the character who adds the captions on your photos!

Photo Captions allow you take a picture using the device camera or pick a photo from your photo gallery and adds pre-defined captioned with a Gangnam poster on it. You can share the app through Facebook, Email, Twitter or SMS. Once done you can share the picture through social media profiles or save it to the photo gallery.

From the initial tap itself you can see that the PSY is prompting you to choose your picture either using the device camera or from the photo gallery. It would be great addition if we can import the pictures from Facebook or Picasa as well. In fact, the screen a bit stretched towards the bottom of the entire screen as I see the rate the app and share options are half way hidden. I was not able to share the final output to anywhere due to this issue.

Photo Captions is a cool and fun way of sharing photos, but it definitely needs much more improvements in the UI and usability.

You can download Photo Captions from the App Store for $0.99
