There should be very few people who haven’t tried the very popular game Doodle Jump, which is really a fun game on the iPhone for more than a year. After that a lot of games came based on the same concept of DJ; Fat Jump is not an exception.
Of course, the game is a same kind of play where you have to tilt your device and tap on the screen to reach the top and score points. Fat Jump looks pretty nice with its cuddling design and intuitive interface. It comes with all the features you can expect in a cool game.
The game kicks off with a story that explains where the green hero jumps and why. It’s again a kind of Angry Birds story, but the eggs are just replaced with fruits. The culprits are pink colored where the hero is greenish. First thing I liked in Fat Jump is the eye-catching design. A green dominating screen is really a pleasure to watch. The app holds unlimited levels of gameplay so that you won’t be bored.
The controls are very simple like tilt and tap, which is the easiest way for a game. There are floating grass buds for the hero to land safely on each tap. Some grass buds hold fruits and some other power ups that can improve your life. The scoring is only based on the heights you reach. Be aware of the killers who may present on some buds – hitting on them will reduce your life. And most carefully be in the track and land safely on each tap without slipping.
There are many levels to unlock in fat Jump so, I am pretty sure that the game might contain some interesting things on exploring each new level. This is a universal app that supports both the iPhone and iPad screens. It is fully integrated with Game Center, OpenFeint, Facebook and Twitter that makes you play and share the game with your friends easily. There is an offline leaderboard too that makes your playing abilities to be recorded if you are not connected to the internet.
I can wind up this review saying, Fat Jump is of course an interesting game that keeps your fingers busy for hours. It is available on the App Store for $0.99.
