As world moves on digital, smartphones are nowadays the best partners for people to optimizing their manual works. In fact, if you have a high-end smartphone or tablet, you can organize many of works in one place on the go!
DocScanner Pro is developed by Haave Oy, which is a perfect scanner of any kind of document, papers and whatever it is in your table. It may be a business card, your driving license or a receipt of last shopping, DocScanner proves to be perfect with accurate scanning as the output. Of course, I have used some pro apps from the App Store that uses the Optical Character Recognition (OCR) technology, but DocScanner is not a usual one among them.
The important aspect of this app is the crystal clear scan quality of scanned documents. Users have an option to set the auto shoot or manually capture the document by aligning it into the square box. In fact, I liked the auto-capture feature rather than manual one as it was perfect most of the times!
Another nice feature is the image processing options after the scanning process. Yes, you can fine-tune the sharpness, light and much more things on the scanned file. Each scanned files are stored inside the app. You can provide a perfect tile, tags and choose a category for better organization. The app uses your location and adds it to the scanned document. You can switch on the iCloud service if you wish to sync the documents to iCloud.
The OCR technology is used perfectly in this app for language translations. You can translate the scanned documents into many languages such as French, German, Greek, Hungarian, Indonesian, Italian, Japanese, Korean and more! There are more sharing options where you can easily upload the documents to Evernote, Dropbox, Google Drive, etc. You can easily print the document through AirPrint if you are connected in Wi-Fi.
Only issue I have encountered with the app is the inaccuracy in OCR translations. It took some time to convert, which may be obvious, but the output was not exactly that great as expected. It was embarrassing to see that there is no way to send the scanned documents via email or print via AirPrint when I used it in an iPad. DocScanner Pro may be a bit pricey for some people.
DocScanner Pro is definitely a pro app for perfectly scan any kind of documents through your iPhone camera. Please mark my word “Perfect”! You can avail this app from the App Store for $6.99
